Formerly: www.ecjoe-vertical-logistics.com
Welcome to the vertical20 / ecjoe-vertical-logistics website! This website exists solely to inspire you! Through E.C.'s love of the outdoors, climbing, discovery and the quest; may you reach your goal!
The main features are stories from the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California, USA, of Classic Climbs, Mo' Classic Climbs, Some Mo' Classics including an account of climbing Tehipite Dome, including photos and topos of most of the the routes (in .pdf format).
When you're done with those, hang out on Excess Reality Ledge for a while and reflect or get some Vertical Beta. Of course, you wouldn't want to miss out on Technical Downloads! of climbing knowledge and Knots to Know for climbing.
Just use the links above or below...
Eddie Joe, "E.C." has been climbing since 1974. He is known for his first ascents of many classic Sierra climbs as well as his expertise as a rock climbing instructor. He is a founding member of the Southern Sierra Climbers' Association, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to protecting the access of Southern Sierra climbing areas and helping to preserve them for future climbing experiences. Eddie is an 'Individual' Member of the American Mountain Guides Association, and had been credentialed as a Boy Scouts of America Climbing Director/Instructor and a Wilderness First Responder.
There is some information on this website for the Needles in the Southern Sierra. However, this site is no replacement for the currently out of print Needles Guidebook. Sorry. Here are a couple of great resources for The Needles: Clint Cummins 'Needles Rock Climbing' and 'Alexander Cooper's Needles Mini Guide.' The adventure is in YOUR control!
